It's cold, and the virtue has gone out of everything.

Someone needs to tell Mother Nature that it doesn't get this cold in mid-October in the Tennessee valley. We had to turn the heat on today. I have my flannel sheets on the bed along with a heavy blanket and a comforter and five pillows, and I was still cold last night.

I've cracked 80,000 words on Bell-Men, but the words are a bit of a struggle today. I still don't know how the endgame is going to play out, and I don't have a whole lot of time remaining to figure it out before I have to actually write it. All I know is that it's about to start snowing where Cam is, because why the hell not?

I'm tempted to go to bed and watch a movie or something until I fall asleep, but I still have about 1,500 words to write on my self-imposed daily wordcount. Dammit.

Grrrrr. Go get 'em! It's a little too darn cold around here, too.

Let it snow.

Natalie--You need big fluffy socks!

Aaron--I can't decide if it should be freezing rain or snow. I think I'll give 'em both.

Been 40F and continuously drizzling for a week now. A *week*. Remember Pittsburgh? Yeah, it's all that.

BTW, do you think anyone else on here clicks "Publish your comment" without logging in intentionally, and repeatedly, until the verification word is acceptable?

It's not too cold here yet, but we should get the first frost soon. Brr! I try not to put the heating on until at least November.

Yep, we had a bit of snow the other day. Lots of wind and rain mostly.Creeks and rivers are running high like it was the spring thaw.

Bet you'll get it wrapped up before Nano.

Lertulo--I never look at verification words until I'm ready to hit publish, but now I think I'll have to refresh and refresh and refresh.

Cate--I thought I'd never warm up last night! Fortunately the sun's out today (for a change).

Alan--I'm going to try and wrap it up today. I've kind of worked out the ending, although I suspect it'll suck.

Snow, brrrr! I'm not ready for the s-word yet.

I just keep thinking that it is going to get a lot colder and the snow will start to stick and then accumulate and then we can really complain.

Or have a snowball fight first and then complain. You have to get these things in the right order. :)
