It's that time of year again!

I just updated my NaNo profile for 2009! If you're going to be doing Nano this year, hop on over and buddy me. I hope they've fixed the bug where the page only displays 11 of your buddies, because I love being able to see how other people are doing and race them.

I've tossed my hat in the ring for Tiger, an odd little idea I've had floating around for a while. I may end up changing my mind, but Tiger is the perfect kind of project for Nano--quirky, of questionable salability (I don't think that's the right word, but you know), and short.

Jack of All Trades was my 2007 Nano project, incidentally.

I can't believe I am looking forward to this year more than last year (and I was pretty stoked about last years project).

Last year I started my project early. I'm not going to do that this year. It's more fun to be raring to go on Nov. 1. :)

I felt the same way about my Nano idea last year. Now it's the reason I won't be doing Nano in 2009 ; ) Can't complain though, now that Fall is back I'm itching to edit "Bucky's Luck" into a proper novel!

I hope they've fixed that bug too. Worse than only being allowed 11 on the main page, you couldn't even choose which 11 were there.

(yes, it's me posting from my other gmail account--too lazy to log out and back in)

Natalie--Awesome, one of the great things about Nano is having a finished draft (or mostly finished) at the end! Good luck with the edits.

Cate--Yeah, I ended up kicking everyone off my buddies list who obviously wasn't in-it-to-win-it, as they say, just so I could see the profiles of those I was racing.

Horror Girl--It's a lot of fun, and kind of exhausting and exhilarating at the same time.

NaNo scares me. I did it last year, but I don't know if I can muster the time/energy to make it happen this year.

And I'm too stubborn to quit once I start.

I hope you do it again this year. It does take a lot of energy and effort, but it's a great exercise.

Every year, I get more and more excited about Nano! :D This will be my fourth year. I'm writing a western. If I finish it before the end of November, which is definitely possible, I'll start adding short stories from an anthology I'm planning.

I've added you on the Nano Web site (same username as here: LMEighmy).

Oh, goodie! Your project sounds fun! I'll go add you to my buddies list.

A successful NaNo project. Cool.
I must head over and update my page.

They're having some database issues, apparently, but I was able to get on briefly last night.
