I haven't posted the last day or two because I've been busy with non-writing stuff, and because I haven't had any activity on writing stuff. Nearly 50% of my Duotrope listings are red now. I don't know if that's a good sign or just means that editors hate my stuff so much they can't even bear to respond to my subs now.
Revisions are still going nicely. Now I just need 10 more hours in each day.

About a third of my submissions have turned red - I'm determined to look at is as a good sign.

All I know is nobody's sent any responses in what feels like an awfully long time.
Maybe it has something to do with the time of year--maybe editors are swamped every spring. Or maybe they just get lazy when the weather turns warm.

Just to let you know, I found the other K C Shaw through a Google Alert. I left a note on his blog, and he's now going by the name Kirk L. Shaw.
