Pay attention!

Here it is, the only picture of me you're ever likely to see here, at least without me half-hiding behind something. I don't like having my picture taken. Halloween, though--that's different. Here I am as a rather pleasant-looking witch (a costume I threw together from stuff I already had, when I realized the little kids are already out trick-or-treating):

That's my cat Saint Vincent I'm holding. And yes, I'm looking rather annoyed because Mom kept telling me to smile. I didn't want to smile. You can't tell from the picture, but I'm wearing orange and white stripey socks. Happy Halloween!

Do you have any Halloween pictures? Let's see them!

That's a great picture, KC. Witchee-poo, wasn't that the name of the character from that odd kids show HR Puff n stuff?

I always found HR Puff n Stuff a little creepy so I never watched it, but I think you're right.

It just started pouring rain. Poor little kids!

Spook-eeeee. Very nice for tossing something together. Enjoy the GH show tonight (those of us w/o cable will have to wait for the highlight show)

My mom tells me the same thing! I swear, mothers have such hard-ons for smiling : P

Aaron--They're mostly just rerunning older episodes (although really good ones), with some stuff online and in between episodes. Still fun, though.

Natalie--I don't know what's up with that. You'd think they wanted us to look happy or something. :)

Woot! Nice pic. Nice costume. Nice cat.

At least it wasn't snowing. One of the years when I lived up in Knoxville, it snowed on Halloween. Yes, I was out in it taking my son and his friend trick or treating. The flake were big and fat and plopped when they hit my umbrella.

Eek, snow on Halloween! It was pretty chilly tonight, but it's incredibly rare to have snow here in October. My mom says she remembers trick-or-treating in heavy snow when she was a kid, but that was in Kansas. :)

Cool picture, I hope you spent the evening casting spells. I went trick or treating with the kids but was a boring non-costume participant - well that was the intention, but people still kept running away and shouting zombie... :D

Do people do that on ordinary days or just on Halloween? :)

Cate Gardner said...

Oh all the time... I work too hard. ;)

K.C. Shaw said...

lol! I feel like a zombie this morning. Maybe I shouldn't go out today.

You have forgotten the very nice pic you have at the end of Jack. It doesn't show your face completely, but it is a nice pic.

Hope you had fun last night.

That was a horrible picture. I was in a bad mood anyway because I had to have my picture taken for the book, and I didn't want to have my picture taken. Bleah.

Ah - very cute.

Nothing like WP from HR - she had a horrible nose from memory - yours is cute as a button!

;c)

Word verification = conism

Has nothing to do with my comment ;cP

Thanks. I'm rather fond of my nose, actually (even though it smells). :)

How did I miss this post. Great picture. I don't think I have any Halloween photos, it's not as huge over here.

It's gotten a lot more popular here even since I was a kid. I guess businesses realized there was money to be had in selling fake coffins and stuff. :)

Nice piccie! :D

But shouldn't the cat be black? ;)

It's nice to put a face to the name and writings!

Love the picture!!! Oh my goodness. You are so clever and creative to come up with that costume on the spur of the moment. And the shorter hair style suits you very well. :)
