Review blog up

I've started my new book review blog, Skunk Cat Book Reviews, for those of you who are interested in that sort of thing.

Two days and a few hours until NaNoWriMo, and I have made peace with the fact that I have no freaking idea what my NaNo book will really be about. Serenity now, serenity now. I have a title, what else do I need? Also I've already named my main character, so I don't have to sweat over that. Everything else will be pirates and ninjas, if necessary.

In book-reading news, I have just over two months left in the year and ten books left in my "read 50 books in 2009" thing. Since I won't be reading much in November, I'd better start sorting my to-be-read books by thickness again.

You can have some of my reviews if you like. Most of my books come through HorrorScope so they need to publish the review first, but you can have seconds if you like, or you can have the reviews I do off my own bat like yours, Tainted, Olive Lemon, etc...

Or you can go tell me to fly a kite, or something similar if much more polite ;c)

Let me know.

I was actually going to ask if you wanted to do an occasional review for Skunk Cat, but I figured you were already reviewed out. :) At this point I don't know exactly how we'll be doing the reviews, to be honest, but I'll drop you an email if it looks like we need some extras. Thanks!

I keep reading that name as "Skunk Ape." Oops.

Remember: When in doubt, sex scene! It's nano. Go balls to the wall.

Jameson--Skunk apes are bigger. :)

Natalie--In that case, my characters are going to do nothing but bonk each other all month. Which would be fun to write, I admit.

I like the name of that blog, much better than what I could come up with. I look forward to seeing what you put on there.

Thanks! It's named after the next door neighbor's cat, which is black and white so we call it the Skunk Cat. The camera turned up again yesterday, so hopefully we'll get a picture posted. :)

oh dear my first nano is coming soon. (*runs around making fretting noises. which sound like this: "fret fret fret")

I like "Skunk Cat". Captures one's attention, anyway. ;)

Horror Girl--I now imagine your icon picture saying "fret fret fret" in a squeaky little voice. I'll fret along with you!

Aaron--That was the idea. Although we did go through two full pages of brainstorming title ideas yesterday before we got to that one. Eventually everything sounded like a potential title, but we were a little punchy with Halloween candy at that point.

Fantastic. May word of your reviews spread far and wide.

I think it's going to be fun. At least it'll give me a way to remember which UF book had which kind of vampires (since I can't work out the Vampirometer until I learn Javascript, which isn't going to happen).
