We got about 5 inches of snow overnight before it turned to sleet. I got bundled up to walk down and check the mail, but halfway there I realized that it would be so much more fun to build a snowman. So I did.
Then Mom and I walked around so she could take some pictures. This is a picture of me, sort of. Apparently I was gesticulating wildly as I talked, which is no big surprise.

Is that your house in the background??? Oh my, I want.
Yes, that's my house. :) Well, it's not exactly mine--it's a rental--but it's very comfortable. Mom's got a fire going downstairs right now and we're about to roast hotdogs over the fire!
That sounds like a bit more than you mentioned was expected. If there's a hill nearby, you should go tobogganing.
Extra jealous... My house is tres boring (and a rental too).
Alan--I can't go out again, my only pair of jeans are soaked. I'll watch out the window to see other people tobogganing. (Also, we don't have any kind of sled or coaster.)
Cate--Well, this one's pretty boring too, actually. It's comfortable, though.
That snowman has a darling hat : )
Delightful. We only had 1/2 inch overnight, but that was plenty after the blizzard three weeks ago. Your snowman is a classic.
Natalie--Thanks, I made the hat and the snowman both!
Aaron--I'm already tired of the snow. It can melt anytime it likes.
Looks absolutely gorgeous. Of course, I'm not the one stuck there in the freezing cold :)
Yeah, I'm getting pretty darn sick of snow by now. At least the roads are pretty much clear by now so I'm not stuck at home.
Your snowman is super cute! :D
Thanks! It's been warm enough the last two days that he's turning into an anorexic snowman.
