She's been hiding since I got her at 9am this morning, but she's letting me pet her as long as I lean over the couch and stretch my arm down to touch her without her actually moving. I got a picture of her with the flash. She didn't even jump.
She's about two years old and very shy. I think we'll get along just fine once she decides to come out from behind the furniture. The house is full of cat toys.

Pretty little thing, isn't she? I hope she adjusts well and quickly; it's pretty traumatic to change homes like that.
Yeah, I've been trying to be quiet and calm all day. I even left to run errands for a few hours so she could explore. She seems like a real sweetheart.
I love cats, and miss them dearly. Owen is quite allergic. She'll be at home soon. Enjoy!
My sis-in-law and oldest nephew are allergic, so my brother can't have cats either although he likes them. He'll just have to visit mine.
We took in a stray kitten/cat recently and named her Rosemary, for the rosemary bush I found her in. She hops on my shoulder every time I pee, so I feel like some kind of weird pirate. Cats rule.
Cats do rule, although this particular cat is so neurotic I called her former owner and asked if she could take her back. *heavy sigh* Life is screwy.
