I'm more or less ready to set off for Atlanta and DragonCon in the morning! This has been a busy day.
Accomplished:
oil change/tire rotation/brake inspection (all AOK)
washed car, cleaned it out, topped off the tank
washed and ironed clothes
made five more bookmarks, dozens more stickers for the free table
packed everything I don't need tonight
printed out directions, hotel reservation email
put Kevin's and my cousin Molly's phone numbers in my phone (I always forget I can do that)
cleaned bathroom, mowed lawn (neither have anything to do with DragonCon, but they were on my to-do list)
Still to do before bedtime:
Type up the writing that I did this morning
Burn CDs!
Quadruple-check that my DragonCon reservation card is in my suitcase
I'm taking Ellen Kushner's Swordspoint with me, just in case there aren't any books available at DragonCon. Heh.

Did you pack the cape? DragonCon, you need a cape.
Have fun!
Hey, Peter S. Beagle's going to be there? Offer him a taco for me, will you? :)
Darn! Cape! I forgot my cape!
OMG, is Peter Beagle really going to be there? I wonder if he's doing a signing and if I should bring my ancient, battered copy of The Last Unicorn, and if he'd be insulted if I asked him to sign an ancient, battered paperback.
I might put it in my bag. Just in case.
Geez, you'll be exhausted before you get there.
Already am! But I can sleep late if I want to in the morning. It's only about a four-hour drive.
Thanks! I'll do my best. :)
Have a fabulous time and take lots of photos.
Woo hoo! Safe travels, KC.
Drive safely, have a great time, don't forget about us while you meet all sorts of new and fascinating peoples.
BTW- got the stickers and bookmarks yesterday, made my day. Am planning on reading about Jack this weekend, starting today.
