I wrote 3,000 words today, longhand, and just finished typing them up. I'm going to try and add another 500 or so before bed, too.
The only problem is, I've pretty much written all the early scenes I had planned. I've written my way to the edge of a cliff. I can see the plot continuing on the other side of the canyon, but I'm damned if I know how to cross.
Time for some outline action tomorrow, I suspect.

I use internet Mah Jong for outlining. The repetitive action frees my muse : )
Oh, but isn't that the exciting part.
One world: jetpack.
Make it a science fantasy.
Natalie--I am embarrassingly bad at Mah Jong, so my outline would get all twisted up.
Cate--Only if I can manage to write 40,000 words that make sense with the ending I have in mind. Which is debatable even with an outline. :)
Aaron--lol! I could use the NaNoWriMo trick of just introducing ninjas and cowboys until the plot has forwarded enough to write about.
'and so they traversed the canyon on donkeys they borrowed from a local cowboy until they got to the other side.'
Is that a little too literal?
I will go out and have all my characters buy Stetsons. :)
