I just found out that fellow writer and online friend Jamie Eyberg and his wife died this past weekend. I'm shocked and horrified. Things like this don't really happen, not really, not in real life--or at least they only happen to people I don't know.
I don't have any words to say, except that Jamie will be sadly missed by his friends and readers. Rest in peace.

I read about it the other night. It was awful and their children are so young.

I still can hardly believe it. It's such a sad and sudden thing.
I just heard about this - they were overcome by gas from a well -
I'm still in shock...
I didn't realize the gas came from their well. I know they had had problems all summer with that well and thought it was finally fixed. How awful! I can't stop thinking about their kids, too. Jamie was such a great dad.
